Employers and employees will both use the core system to process claims, update account details and issue an SSN or PIN online.
After four failed PIN attempts, accounts are locked out. For assistance, see the bottom of the page or contact MyFlorida support if you’ve lost or forgotten your PIN.
1-800-204-2418 is the number for MyFlorida Office of Reemployment Assistance, and it’s open Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
Due to the filing of claims, high call volumes can be experienced in the first two days. Callers should allow enough time to speak with operators.
CONNECT DEO encourages registration to gain access via an assistance application. During this process, your Florida unemployment login will be created and your PIN activated.
Other web browsers than Internet Explorer may display error messages. Log out and log back in again if you get an ORA error message while updating your weekly claim.
Log on to your account to update your claim week using the assigned status code. Monday is 0000-1999; Tuesday is 2000-3999; Wednesday is 4000-6399; Thursday is 7000-9999. Friday does not have a code.
Before being approved for Florida unemployment, most applicants will need to pass a skills test.

Your claim will be canceled if you do not use your Florida unemployment login within 25 days of filing a claim.

Florida Unemployment Benefits Requirement
- You must have lost your job without fault. If you are fired for misconduct or personal reasons, you won’t be eligible. You are not disqualified for poor job performance.
- You have to be either completely or partially unemployed. You must be either partially or totally unemployed if your hours are reduced or you can’t find work.
- The “base period” is defined as the first four quarters that began 18 months before your claim. It is the minimum amount you must have earned to qualify for the tax exemption.
- You need to be able and available to work as well as actively looking for work. You must be able to find work and provide child care if needed.
Get ready for your claim
You will need the following documents to apply for unemployment benefits:
- Your Social Security Number
- Your driver’s license or state ID number
- Information about your employment history over the last 18 months, including:
- Names, addresses, and telephone numbers of employers
- Dates for the first and last days of work
- Gross earnings before taxes during employment periods
- Reasons for separation
- FEIN number (found on your W2 and 1099 tax forms).
- You can use your pay stub to find out the employer details if you don’t have a FEIN.
Some workers may need additional information:
- Non-U.S. citizens will need to provide their Alien Registration number or work authorization form
- All military personnel must submit their DD214 Member Copy 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8.
- Federal employees must have SF 8 and SF 50.
- Union members need to provide their name, hall number, and telephone number.
